After two seasons with Sting SC, Mitchell joined the Dallas Hornets MLS NEXT Academy for 2026–27 under Coach Kevin White — a step up to one of the highest levels of youth soccer in the country. The campaign opened September 6, 2026 with a 2–1 win over Ozarks MLS NEXT AD U14 (1 goal, 1 assist). Through three matches the Hornets are 3–0, with Mitchell totaling 2 goals and 2 assists — most recently a 4–0 win over 956 MLS NEXT AD U14 on September 19 (1 assist).

Double Bassist selected for All-Region Middle School Orchestra — the top honor for a 7th grade orchestra player.
Opened 8th grade season with a 1st-place finish. Team captain in 7th grade with three top-2 finishes.
